It was great to work this much DX with poor solar flux. Fifteen mtrs was
better than expected and 20 was much poorer than expected. Antennas were
taking a beating from wind and snow. Tree suspended antennas are not the way to
go in this weather. The 10m wire beam was totally destroyed. Next year I need
to get something with narrow filters. These SSB filters are medicine for
a severe headache after 20 hours. Still it was good to work some familiar calls
and hand out some points to folks really in the race.
