Comments:
First 36 hour WPX that I can remember. Ive done Multi op, and put in less than
36 quite a few times. No serious strategery for off times. I did not prepare
for the contest, stayed up late every night all week, so sleep each night was on
the list. I also allowed time to see emergency patients, and had more calls
Saturday than the average month. I seem to remember that doing root canals
during a contest has been OK in the past. I planned on leaving time for Thunder
storms. It seemed really strange to end 3 hours before the contest was over;
however, while the off times may not have been best for the score, I survived
and did the things I had not taken time to take care of before the
contest started.
40 seemed pretty good here. The main goal was to try to make the top ten USA w/o
packet, and to push SO2R as far as I could.
