Comments:
Pretty good conditions. Over 95% running, but I tried to check the DX window or
some other part of the band every 10 CQ's or so. Too bad a few selfish U.S.
stations don't think the DX window rules apply to them! Couldn't make it to
PY0FF or V47, but worked two ZF, two XE, CO, VP5, and figured out how to work
JA. Squeeze somewhere in their band and call CQ. Had 3 JA's answer around
sunrise yesterday and 5 this morning. Missed Alaska for WAS. Were any on? Made
a slight improvement to shunt fed tower. Before was 94' with two 30' drooping
wires for top loading. Now 104' with 3 el wide spaced 20M beam at 94'for top
loading. The tower was resonant around 2050 KHz before and about 1725 KHz now.
Thanks to K6SE for modeling.
Hope every one had fun. CU on ten next weekend.
