Comments:
The final section could have been MARS rather that MAR for all it matters.
VE9DX was barley audible on 10 and 15 meters from VA. I went to 40 for the
last 3 hours of the contest and called CQ hoping that a VE1/9 would give me a
call to finish the sweep. I had set a goal of 1000 Qs for this contest as I
had never made it in previous SS CWs but just fell a few Qs short. I also
noticed my lack of practice before the contest. I usually try to run a few
hours of practice mode the week before the contest but I was too busy this
time. It showed with a larger number of fills being requested. I had a good
time and helped break in my brother's (W4RM) Alpha 99. I worked flawlessly.
Also has anyone found a good way to request a fill on the Prec? This seemed to
dumbfound some when I sent PR? or PREC? or even Pwr?
