Comments:
Maybe one of these days I will stay up all night and do something serious on
160. All I was going to do in this one was try to work 30 countries without
applying much effort. I did not bother to fight it out in some of the large
pileups simply because I was not in the mood to do so. I could have just as
easily crawled out of bed a few minutes before sunrise and worked JA, VK and
whatever else. I suppose I could have kept hammering it out in the pileups.
I spent very little time in the shack Saturday night but from what I was
hearing......seemed Friday night was the best night without a doubt.
I claim 7 hours of operating...but to be quite honest...I would go out to the
shack for 10-30 minutes at a time.....come back in the house and watch
television.....go back to the shack.......etc. Think my last qso was at 0814
Saturday after working KH6TO.
I may be down at XA5T for the phone weekend.
