Couldn't manage to stay up past 2AM the first night, but made it to 3:30AM
Saturday; still missed the VK6, but managed to snag VE7, KH6 and a few other
NW sections. Missed some usually fairly easy sections, such as SJV, SCV,
ND, SD, WTX, VE4, VE6, KP4. Only worked a handful of EU as they called in
while running. Conditions seemed down to the West coast, and it was a
struggle to work CA stations. Some curiosities of the log:
First three hours were 100, 94, 84 - good start, but most of the rest of the
time was plodding along at around 50.
Section winner was IL with 58, followed by OH with 48. MI came in with 38
qsos, and surprises included 8 in AZ and 20 in NH!
Got frustrated by the lack of mults and turned on DX Summit only to find it
wasn't me - they just weren't there. Should have probably spent more time
digging for mults and definitely need to stay up all night, but ce la vie.
