Radios : FT-1000MP, TS850S, AL1500 and Alpha 91b.
Antennas : 160 m shunt fed tower, 80 m sloper system, 40 m M2 3el at 24 m, 20 m
5 el at 24 m, 15 m 5 el at 21 m, 10 m 6 el at 15 m + 5 el at 26 m.
One tower and 3 new yagis were not installed 3 weeks before the contest after
the station was severely hit by the 99 XMas terrible wind storm.
Besides loosy propagation on sunday, a new wind storm came during the contest,
making the antennas very hard to turn and stay to the direction we expected.
The 160 m shunt-fed tower was not well tuned with the new (bigger) 20 m beam.
This almost unexpected contest has been a good opportunity to test the new or
rebuilt antennas as well as introduce semi serious CQ WW DX contesting to a
young and very motivated operator.
