C4A & CQ WORLD WIDE PREFIX CONTEST -- 2000
It was fun to work many of the WRTC 2K participants last weekend. It means
they are working hard to make it to the WRTC 2004 and that contesting
future is sound.
Nearly 10 % more NA stations compared to my C46A 1998 effort which has
resulted in 109 mults more this year, but the score is still 1M down. Due to
the guest that could not be neglected as well as the Miss of the Universe
(Croatian competition), my off time had been extended as well as my Sunday
morning sleep, so I ended up with two extra break hours and 16 hours of
continious operation on Sunday. High bands seemed to be open all the time,
so this time SOSB entrants had to plan their times off too and looks low
banders with DVKs had a big advantage this year. Since contesting IS fun I
won't comment it from the propagation perspective.
Thanks to all who had called me and CU CW...
