Need real beverages for next time. Any opinions on the
K9AY or EWE's?
Saturday AM, Eu was great. Worked 2 VK6s. Sunday - blah.
Never been able to run Eu before - this was a treat.
Big DX Sig award goes to VK6HD - 599 +10 at peaks.
Lessons:
Don't schedule construction on Saturday. Dug an 87' trench for
electrical service after being up all night. Started the
ditch witch @ 9:00am, finished by noon.
DO order your beverage xfmrs well in advance. Not the monday of. . .
DON'T bug your neighbors to borrow their xfmrs (TNX K2UA)
DO take time to thank your significant other DURING
the contest. It DOES increase your on-air time and
the score!
DON'T ignore your significant other before, during or
after the contest. Costs WAY more, otherwise. . .
