Comments:
Great conditions, missed 4 M by one or two QSOs.
As this is the 30th anniversary running of my participation in CQWW CW for me,
I'll wax nostaglic.
I broke into operating with the PVRC multi-multi team at W3AU where my mentor
was none other than N4RV. Currently, Jack and I operate in a two-man MS team at
this QTH.
What would PVRC Founding Members such as W3GRF and W4KFC would think of logging
with a computer? At W3AU circa 1972 we often discussed how much we needed a
computer to automate logging. We thought it would be the ultimate luxury to
have a computer duping the log and even printing QSLs. Anybody recall the many
hours of log checking required after the contest?
Thanks to K1EA for the innovation known as CT.
73, Ray KT4W
