Congratulations to the W3LPL team! Frank's crew posted a very impressive
score!
Also fine jobs by the N2RM, K1KI and N3RS teams.
A major ICE storm struck K3LR and Western Pennsylvania early Saturday
morning. It rendered all of the 20, 15 and 10 meter antennas useless.
All had 10:1 VSWR readings! We did not quit until equipment started to
break due to the high VSWR. Just after we shut down, the AC power went
off (because of the storm) for over 3 hours which sealed our fate.
Many thanks to the K3LR team that worked very hard during adverse
conditions.
We are looking forward to CQWW Phone in October.
