As mentioned in the posting from the M8T team, the UK suffered from a major
storm over the weekend of the contest, as you may have read in the media THE
worse effected area was right here in South Wales, with severe gales and
floods!
Consequently my single 60' crank-up was reduced to no more than 30' during
Saturday evening, at the height of the storm and stayed at that level for
the rest of the contest; having antennas at that height is NOT conducive to
a big score.
