All reports sent were 59(9), unless otherwise noted.
Operator List: NK7U, K7ZO, W7ZRC, K7MK, N7BZ, KC7DPD, KD7CB
Equipment: You bet, much aluminum high in the sky. We could chose from
a total of 52 elements on 15M alone!
Quickly, maybe more later.
Wow ? did everyone have as much fun as us? I?m sure the scores will be huge.
Heard PJ9B report in on the real 3830 and we thought they said 58 MILLION!
Our
score was up 240% over last year. Eight hours over 100/hr! One of the best
scores ever from an NK7U operation!. Also we noted a general improvement in
the
on air behavior of our fellow contesters and non-contesters. We only got
into
two frequency fights and no problems with cat calls or pig farmers. Maybe
with
the increase in bands to operate on we are not suffering the frustrations of
being cramped into small bandwidths. I will try to write up more during the
next
week as we have plenty of good stories to share.
Scott/K7ZO and one of the NK7U gang.
