Imagine my horror, when taking a break after the Padres sad loss
to those damn yankees, I read on 3830 reflector digest, which comes
in every night at around 8:45, that the HONOR SPRINT was on today!
Not only TODAY, but NOW, and 10 minutes til the end!!!
Went immediately to 80, worked W7WA, KK7GW and N7LOX followed by K7RAT
for a MULT!! FLASH changed bands to 40 (sounds like a Gotham Adv)
and proceeded to jump bands with WA GW and the RAT for the rest of the
contest and even work a ZERO at the end.....
LINE SCORE; K7SS, Dan WA, 12 x 3 = 36, 10 minutes on time. geeeeesh..
Noteable needless info: First HF contest ever without a CALIFORNIA QSO.
73 all and hope Langston can sleep tonight..
