Sorry for the delay in this posting. While the contest was fun
the post contest work of getting things sorted out still continues.
Like the rest of Planet Earth, we saw propagation problems through
the first 15 hours of the test. Then, about hour 18 or so the
computer on the 40 meter station went into an "ignore and play
with toes" error. Since we were networked (unfortunately) we had
to shut down, reconfigure all five stations for singe node mode
and restart. The 40m station came up reluctantly.
At the end of the contest none of the results from the individual
stations agree. We seemed to be missing Qs and mults at random. The
notorious 40 meter computer only showed half the Q's in the editor
that were displayed on the ALT-S screen. After two weeks of writing
UNIX utilities to dissect the .BIN files we FINALLY have results we
can believe and trust.
Maybe by the end of this week I'll have the logs sorted out and
ready for submission.
