Equipment Description:
Icom IC-735 100w
CT 9.37
40M = 130 ft center-fed doublet (ladder line fed)
20, 15, 10M = Cushcraft R-6000 Vertical
QRN Levels on 40 & 80 were very high, gave up completely on 80. However
great condx on 20-10 made up for it. I think most of the 1 xmtr class
stations stayed on 20 meters and up due to the condx there. I couldn't make
the 40 Q's like past years. This was my first test of my new R-6000
vertical and it performed very well. Kept getting answered by Europeans on
my CQ's on 20cw so antenna was getting out! W1's and 2 were near constant
on 15 and 10, 15 was
almost open all night!
