We had a great trip and a great time! Thanks to TDXS for making this
happen.....we are already
planning for next year when I plan to not blow my tuner up the day before
the contest so I have to
change antenna strategy at the last minute! Hamsticks saved the day!
Worked 20 and 40 off and
on. Logged over 1000 miles through deep East Texas from the Golden
Triangle on the coast through
the Big Thicket and the big cities of Votaw and Rye to the Piney Woods and
back. Operated from
26 counties overall.....working 37 states.....from Florida to Washington
and from Vermont to Southern
California. Worked 4 Canadian Provinces from East to West and worked 38
different counties in Texas.
The 5 states worked most often were....CA 38....WA 25....FL 21....IL
19....PA 17. Our greatest feat
was working N4BP (who was working QRP from FL) from 6 different counties
and 1 specific Florida mobile
from 2 different counties....and we did this without the benefit of a
receiver.
Thanks to all who participated and made this a fun weekend and very active
TQP. Look forward to
working you again.
