Started out with an EMS rescue call at 5AM -- no sleeping late.
Then later that day, found that not one of my wire antennas was
working and the rotor jammed on my beam! Spent the whole day
climbing, throwing rope, pulling wires, etc. By the time my xyl
and I were done, everything was working with a pretty good swr.
Prop not very good on friday night, but 15m was hot on saturday.
Heard far fewer than usual US stations looking for my prefix.
(Good -- that's means I'll have that many fewer US QSLs with no
SASE to underwrite.)
This summer will finally get my towers up. Look out K4ZAM and the
rest of you guys -- I'm coming after you.
