Neither Ron nor I were real fired-up about this contest for some
reason. The rates CQing the first couple of hours were well below
what we're used to, so we decided to just tune around calling folks
for a big chunk of the first night. I think that may have helped
our multiplier total a bit. The second night was pretty much back in
CQ-machine mode...although, we did close the station for about 3
hours Saturday night for some sleep.
The US signals seemed to be a little weaker than normal, and the QRN
was giving us fits at times. It would have been nice to have had the
DX condx of this weekend along with the lack of QRN from the past
ARRL 160 test...but that's probably asking for too much!
