Contributions to lidness: CQing on 3.7997 for 10 minutes (and making
QSOs) until N4UK told me I was QRMing his DX QSOs 1Kc below. The
whole window was filled with NAQPers, thus I didn't even notice the
window while S&Ping for a place to CQ.
Lidness experienced: Two radio ops returning from their second radio
QSO to the frequency I had just begun a great run on. Stating "I was
on the second radio but this is my run frequency..." Sorry Charlie,
that's part of the two radio game. You leave the frequency, you don't
have a claim on it anymore. I use two radios also, and realize that
when I leave a frequency to go hunt someone on rig 2, I risk sacrificing
the rig 1 frequency. If it's taken, I go find an alternative.
Thanks to all the great operators who contributed to the Tennessee
Contest Group team efforts. We had twenty (20) people on the air
consisiting of four (4) teams. Way to go TCG!
