WOW, what a contest. Conditions were great on the high bands and
relatively poor on the low bands. Glad to hear the long path producing
points again too. Fabulous runs, especially on 10M and 15M the second
day kept my adrenaline pumping. The results show that even a very
modest station can perform very well under the right conditions. No rx
antennas limited 160/80 results although the bands were relatively quiet
for this time of year. 5V7A was very loud on top band but no QSO -
darn!. Raw score just surpasses TI1C/N6TR's old N.A. record.
Special thanks to W1WEF and W2VJN/7 for their thoughts on how to repair
my TS930 that arrived inoperable. Fortunately I was able to make my old
faithful xcvr come back to life.
Congrats to the K1KI team for being the first station to work me on all
six bands. The K3LR team gets honorable mention for being one of the
first to work me as I moved band to band.
Many thanks to FS5PL for allowing me the use of his station. The view
from the operating position which overlooks Orient Bay was breathtaking.

Finally, thanks to all the DX stations that were willing to QSY when
asked. Bravo!
