A great start to the new season--- Workhorse band was 20 (of course). Only
found one short CW opening on 10, but using a 20 M dipole for an antenna on
10 doesn't help! Several mults were only 1 Q. Thanks to KL7FAP and VY1JA.
Surprised at not finding any NH this time around. The top states/Counties
were, in order, TX, PA (tnx to Keith, WA3HAE), LAX, WA, VA.
A call from M/W6RGG sure woke me up out of the CQ'ing routine at 7AM.
Suddenly the fingers didn't know where to go on the keyboard. A goodly
bunch of JA's and EU calls on Sunday AM.
This year's lesson? Run a serious check on scoring in TRLog for proper
counting of mults BEFORE THE CONTEST (Still haven't figured out how to get
it to count South Dakota properly).
Lots of fun---now on to the big ones.....
Thanks for all the Q's, 73,
Bill, W1HIJ
