tot 263 x 40 = 10,520. (Jimmy! - changed from 3830 report)
STUFF: FT1000MP, ALPHA 76: TS930, 3-500s. TRLOG 6.01. Stacked KLMs on 20,
40. 2L wire yagi on 80.
SOAP, EXCUSES: Practiced all week with new 2R setup, TR all set up. At
2345z, the radio TWO (40M) amplifier blew up on turn-on. Replaced with
another amp with flakey T/R relay. Signals pumped up and down by 30+ dB.
40m Qs down by a probable 30+. Didn't notice that the lower 40m beam had
windmilled around to ZL during the first hour- it's rotator's brake and
indicator are inop! Me dumb, not to use the high antenna by itself. It
was 10 db louder when I made comparisons after the contest! Heard 6
unworked mults, but was always out of synch. Me dumb, smarter next time,

PS: You should hear N6BT's war story. It makes my Murphy attack look
pretty puny. I hope he posts it here!
