Comments:
Great contest! It was hard to imagine before this contest that
I am able to break the old OH record (1996 OH1NOR 1.190M).
Well, stations just kept calling...I sent CW with my paddle and
memory keyer and typed calls into the PC with my left hand ;-)
160m: no DX but all the obligatory mults
80m: moved W1MK from 40m and worked NU1AW too. Just too much
midnight sun up here!
40m: BIG signals from USA, but propagation from Finland
is far more better to South America. I missed all Far
East mults except JA.
20m: NO METERS LIKE TWENTY METERS! Typical summer openings
here. USA coming thru all night! JAs also
very strong even, worked 2 KH6s! (New 4/4 array works!)
15m: E-skip band here. Only 12 JAs and one US (N1BB, I was
multiplier for him, too!). Where were the Africans?
(only EA8, 3V8BB, D25L here)
BIG suprise was ZL6A! BTW I heard JH7PKU at 2200 UTC!
10m: GREAT Es opening into Germany...no DX except some
UA-DX. Last two years we have had some multi-hop Es to
States, but not now.
