Conditions were not up to the standards of last year, but isn't it
interesting how some activity makes the best of the conditions? We had
a few minutes of Europe on 10M early on, but otherwise I heard no
E skip which is something I count on for QSOs on Saturday afternooon.
I am pleased that the new 20 meter antenna that replaced last year's
tribander opened up a whole new layer of workable Europeans so I didn't
   need the 10 meter Q's.

I've never done 160M in this contest before and was amazed at the
activity. Having KL7Y call me there was a real kick!

I'm not an expert on the IARU, but I suspect 'UFT' is not an IARU

   Sure missed the Hungarian operation!
