Comments:
General -
1.This weekend was going to be part-time effort. Set a
goal of 1 Meg, but the going was so good, figured I'd continue
till 1.5 Meg. Had great rates most of the time on (between 7 AM
and 11 PM both days).
2. The OHs get the European Black Hole Award this weekend.
Lots of KWs, but signals weaker than the Gs and EAs running 5 W.
3. Lots of dupes-an unsually high proportion from QRP stations.
4. Every time an HB called, was hoping for dahdahdahdahdah, instead
of dahdahdahdahdit. Came true on 3 bands.
5. Seemed to be an abundance of Ukraine stations, and a shortage
of most other CIS countries.
6. Funniest moment of the contest: Was in a good-sized packet pileup
and the station came back "2UP AGN." The pileup QSYed quickly, and
then
worked me simplex on a quiet frequency, after I sent my call again.

Highlights -
1. The line noise that has been torturing me for 6 months and
miraculously disappeared for CQWW CW weekend, also disappeared
this weekend!
2. Great low band condx. 40 was so crowded on Saturday evening,
I couldn't find a spot to squeeze in, so went right to 80. Managed
to get the band edge and ran 143 Europeans in 64 minutes!
3. Started running on 40 m at 3 PM local time (sunset 5:40 PM) on
Sunday. Unbelievable signals.

Lowlights -
1. Was CQing at 14000.29, and N3AD tried to squeeze in BELOW me.
