1,097 QSO points X 125 multipliers = 137,125 points
Operated from a cabin in Fulton County and had a great time. Didn't do
as well as I hoped score wise partly due to fact I didn't put up
a 160 meter antenna. Used the 80 meter dipole with shorting stub and was
having a really rough time hearing and being heard. Won't make that
mistake next year.
Antennas were all dipoles, one each on 80, 40 and 20.
Thanks to all the mobiles that cruizzzzzzzzzz around the country side
giving out rare counties. That has got to be tough yet they all sound as
though they are having a blast!
Didn't work W3OK one time.
This is definately my favorite contest and I'm looking forward to next
year already (maybe Warren County portable).
Best Regards and 73's,
Bob, N3IXR
