Comments: Best thing: hitting a 48 hour window without rain,
not an easy thing to do this year! We do FD in the start setup
at 1800Z Saturday mode; we were on the air in about 10 minutes
with a 40 meter inverted vee. We used all wire antennas except
for the 8L yagi for 2M CW/SSB. (Ground planes of SO-239/#12 wire
for 2/440 FM).
The Stars: K8MR KU8E WD8LLD
Supporting Cast: KE8QM N8XPL W9OCF
Personal highlights:
K8MR: Getting the last 10 QSO rate meter to 338 and the 100 QSO
rate past 180 on 40 SSB Sunday morning, and the first 6M QSO, CY0AA.
KU8E: Finally getting the satellite QSOs at 2000Z Sunday
afternoon, and working K3ZO on 2 meter SSB.
WD8LLD: Getting to come out of the closet to operate SSB without
having to let anyone know it's him.
