Yaesu FT-2400 Two meter FM Transceiver:
The Yaesu FT-2400H is a robustly built 2 meter mobile transceiver.
The heavy heat sink allows output at 50, 25 or 5 watts without a fan.
Transmit from 144-148 and receive 140-174 MHz. A CTCSS encode
board is built-in, as is an alphanumeric display. Five scanning
methods and 31 memories are available. It needs 13.8VDC at 12 amps.
Features:
31 Memories
50 / 25 / 5 Watts Output
DTMF Calling
CTCSS Built In
Call Channels
Scanning
Alphanumeric Display
This particular unit works fine and looks great. A bulb is
out behind the LCD display, but it is still very readable.
Mobile bracket, power cord, mic and paper work included for $95.
Kenwood PS-30 Power Supply:
This 20 amp 13 V DC supply was originally made to go with the
Kenwood TS-120/130 series of transceivers, but it also matches
the TS-430/440, and is actually a much more rugged power supply
than the PS-430 often used with the TS-430 or TS-440. It features
large heat sinks and automatic overload reset. Ripple voltage is
less than 20 mv at 13.8 VDC, 20 A.
The PS-30 has a heavy duty power cord with the standard 6 pin
molex connector as used by many Kenwood, Icom and some
Yaesu rigs. It also has terminals on the back for lower current
output, such as for a 2 meter or dual band rig.
This one works fine and looks good as well. It includes paper
work for $125.
Fox Tango Newsletters and "Green Sheet Catalog"
1977 FT Newsletters, Volume 6, bound edition with all newsletters
from 1977, Looks new, $7
1978 FT Newsletters, also labeled Volume 6, like new, $7
Fox Tango #7, Winter 1979-80, Green Sheet Catalog, like new, $3
Fox Tango #8, Green Sheet Catalog, good condition, $2
Buy all four of the above for $15.
Yaesu Crystal
The crystal is an HC-25 cut for 33.02 MHz.
It says it is for a Yaesu FT-101. $15
Cooling Fan:
This fan was originally for a KLM Multi 2700 2 meter transceiver.
I realize that there are not a lot of KLM Multi 2700, 2 meter
multimode rigs in use any more, but if you have one that you
are using, and it does not have the optional cooling fan, you
need this one.
This same fan was also used on some of the Yaesu rigs.
It is a 120 V AC fan, and has a 3 pin plug on it, which of course
could be changed. Even if you do not need it for a Multi 2700,
you might want to use it on another rig.
This one is new, still in its original box, with its original
sealed plastic bag, and instruction sheet. $15
Yaesu MH-15 DTMF Touch Tone Microphone:
The MH-15 c6 is a hand microphone that features a 16 digit
DTMF Touch Tone Pad on the back, along with a lock/unlock
switch. The top has up/down buttons. Of course the PTT
is on the side. This one has the round 6 pin connector.
It works fine and looks close to new. $40
Yaesu YM-17 hand microphone:
The YM-17 is a hand microphone with up/down switches on
the top corner. It has the round 6 pin connector.
This one works fine and looks really great. $30
Yaesu YM-31 hand microphone:
The Yaesu YM-31 is a hand mic with a round 6 pin
connector. Apparently it is either similar or the same
as the MH-25A6j (not the MH-25 with the 8 pin connector).
It is a 600 ohm impedance hand microphone, and has a
Monitor on-off switch on the back.
It looks very similar to the Yaesu MH-1.
This one works fine and looks extremely nice. $25
Several Speaker Microphones:
All of these speaker mics have the 3.5 mm and 2.5 mm two
conductor plugs that are spaced about 3/8 inch apart, and
are molded into a single connector. They are used on Icom,
Yaesu, Radio Shack, Maxon, Ritron, Vertex and many other
radios.
Premier SPM-100
It is a lightweight and compact unit, featuring a powerful
speaker as well as a high-quality condenser-style microphone
element that produces excellent transmitted audio clarity.
The microphone may be secured to the user's lapel or shoulder.
It also features a built-in 3.5mm jack for using an external
earphone. $18
DM-100
Appears to be the same as the SPM-100 above, but just with
a different label. $18
Communications Speakers:
Realistic 21-549 A
This one is about 4 inches square but only about 2 inches
deep. It is rated for 5 watts, has an 8 ohm impedance, and
is listed as a 300 to 3000 Hz frequency response, making it
ideal for communications. 3.5 mm (1/8 inch) mono plug. It
is black in color, looks great, and sounds great. $18
Vanco SPB-5
Appears to be the same at above, but with a Vanco label.
Also includes gimbal mount. $15
Vanco SPB-6
Similar to SPB-5 above, but is considered a noise
cancelling speaker. 10 Watt rating. Still in original
box, new. $18
Coiled DC power cord
Cord has the power plug with a coaxial power plug one end,
with a cigarette lighter plug on the other, and a coiled cord
in between. $12
