[Yaesu] FT1000 Problem

I have an FT1000 as a second rig, that has developed a fault which sounds like 
Chirp on a RX CW signal, as if the frequency is going up and down, does not do 
it all the time but is quite noticeable when it does it. 
  Anyone had anything like this before ?
