[Yaesu] FT-890/AT repair?

Hi all,

My venerable FT-890 has become a bit reluctant to turn on at times.  It 
acts just like the power is disconnected or the power switch has failed.

Let it sit for a while and it usually recovers.

Has anyone seen this?

If the problem gets worse, can anyone recommend a repair shop?
