I have an FT1000MP radio that is no longer producing RF output on SSB or CW. It
produces normal output in the FM mode. Normal levels are observed when
monitoring the microphone and compression meter displays in SSB mode. The
receiver is working OK.
So it appears to be a problem involving the modulator and/or subsequent
circuitry up to the 2nd IF amplifier where the FM signal is injected.
Has anyone encountered a similar problem? If so then any advice would be
appreciated.
