UNDERNEATH the radio is a trap door which contains a switch (S1002) I
will have to throw, it appatrently is normally set for solid state
switching and thowing this switch apparently activates a relay to do the
heavy work! This should do the trick - the rig is at the station on the
other side of town and I will go there tomorrow AM and feel confident
that will do the trick (with so many repsonses indicating same!)
And to the person who said - why don't you look in the manual - it was
not to be found
And to the person who said - why don't you ask the guy you borrowed it
from - he was unavailable
Most of you were very helpful in your suggestions...there always a couple!
Thanks to so many who responded...
73 - hope to see you all in Sweepstakes this weekend.
