Does the Yaesu FT-847 permit a frequency readout different from the actual RF module used. For example, if the 144 mhz output is used with a 1200 mhz transverter, is it possible to have the FT-847 frequency readout temporarily show the 1200 mhz frequency ? In my FT-1000MP Mark V there is a menu change which permits the readout to relect the frequency of a 50, 144, or 430 mhz transverter (see page 14 in the Mark V manual)? It would sure be nice if this were possible with the FT-847. Please reply to donsay2@home.com |
