I use the 1.8Khz INRAD filter in the 8.215Mhz position with the 2.1Khz
INRAD filter in the 455Khz position. I like the combination. It makes a
significant difference from the dual 2.4Khz stock filters and works
pretty good on crowded bands. I don't find the combination too restrictive
and use it without much thought about that aspect so I'd say they work
good.
