Those who have an IC-7610 or IC-7300 may help as well as these radios are
similar.
I have not been unable to get WriteLog to key CW correctly using the USB cable
to the radio or by using a Winkeyer2. Either all seems OK but no Morse
characters are sent. or the the Radio locks in TX mode. I have successfully set
up Ham Radio deluxe and N3JFP software with only modest difficulty. I have used
Writelog since about 2000. For my IC7600 use a separate keyer and a Pk232 for
RTTY with a recent copy of version 11 Writelog. I did not upgrade to version
12 for this radio because radio info through the CI-V cable did not work. My
radio firmware upgrade likely solved this issue but have no desire to upgrade
this copy as all works well.
