Ken are you cloning some of these TNC instances? Which one are you
using to transmit on?
In the rttyrite window, Edit Options lets you set a number of things to
include how many clones you are using.
I do use both DSP4100 and also Dumb Terminal Unit (ST-8000) along with
2-Tone so sometimes 3 receive windows.
In Device Manger, the com port for DXP38 under port settings >> advanced
should have a bunch of settings Buffers, Latency and timeouts.
Most use the DXP38 as the primary and 2 clone receive only windows to
use FSK from the DXP38 on transmit.
I use generally Writelog and hardware generated FSK. But I do vary things.

Hi,
Kind of weird problem..I hope I can explain.
I just upgraded from 11.14C to 12.34K on WIN 7 OPS.
I use 3 rtty windows, RTTY RITE with MMTTY and 2Tone and a DXP38 TNC. The
DXP38 window works occasionally. When its not working, I am transmitting
(IC7600) and garbage continues to come across the screen like it is
oblivious to the fact I am transmitting. If i go to MODE in the DXP38
window and click on 45 baud (which is already check marked) I can start
copying in the window. As soon as I xmt and come back to receive it is not
copying. I can go to PORT and scroll down to the correct port, click on it
and it will start copying again, Xmit and it goes away and starts printing
garbage continually.
When I click on those I notice the indicator on the DXP38 appears to start
working too. It's like I have to "awake" something by clicking on a tab, to
get it copying again.
It just seems to be very unstable. Since I can control it with the mouse, I
have ruled out a hardware or a ( bad plug or cable) problem.
Has anyone had this happen with an external TNC situation?
Any help will be greatly appreciated.
