Dick,
I do get a message that says writelog can't save the configuration and a
button to either switch and correct the problem or the other button says
retry. Today I could get it to save a configuration for two radios but not
three. I guess that must be the problem as it was working fine before I
tried to setup for a three radio configuration.
Thanks,
Nick

Are you receiving an error message when you try? If so, what does it say?

Been busy the last couple of days, but wanted to make note of this. When
running in the BARTG Sprint last weekend I used the Clone window feature in
RittyRite for the first time in a contest. I had the first MMTTY window
Profile set to Fluttered signals (FIR) and set the cloned window Profile to
the AA6YQ FIR512 setting. To say the band conditions were tough that
weekend would be an understatement, but by using the cloned window setup I
was able to put about 6 additional QSOs in the log due to the AA6YQ FIR512
Profile decoding signals that were pure gibberish on the Fluttered signals
(FIR) Profile. Really amazed me at how well one profile would copy so well
through the mush while the other one was lost. Pretty impressive!
On a side note I have a question about the operation of the clone window.
When a call printed in the clone window clicking on either the call or the
serial number would not populate the appropriate fields in the Entry Window
and I had to hand type the info into the fields. However, I did discover
that I could right click on call in the clone window and send that call to
the stack! From the stack I could then Push the call into the CALL field.
Why doesn't left clicking the call in the clone window populate the Entry
box yet right clicking the call populates the call stack? Could an
improvement be made to the clone window logic to allow clicking the call and
exchange from either the main or clone RittyRite window to populate the
Entry Window?

You should be able to click a call or report in the clone window and have it
populate the Entry Window. ?I'll have to check it when I get home but it
should work. The AA6YQ FIR12 profile is great for weak signals. ?The only
problem is that you have to dead-on frequency for it to decode. ?Using it in
a cloned window is an excellent idea. ?I may have to try that.

I found that you had to be right on with the tuning also using AA6YQ
FIR512 profile as well during RTTY RU. Was sort of a nuisance, not
sure that it helped as much because of this.
