I should have included that my laptop runs Windows XP with Service Pack
2 and I did not have to load EXTFSK as Don has suggested on his site.

Folks. I have some good news regarding USB-> serial converters.
I have just tried an Inside Out Networks Edgeport 8 with Writelog and my
laptop. It works 100%. Even using one of the serial ports with MMTTY and
FSK keying. I'm sure it would work with a desktop computer as well.
They are even a little cheaper than a Rocketport or Equinox internal
card.
