I'm a bit perplexed that WRITELOG showed every contact with every
4-land call as being a ZONE 5 contact; when at least Alabama
(I haven't checked the other 4-land calls) is in ZONE 4!! Though I
fully accept that it is the responsibility of the receiving station to
accurately copy and enter the correct zone sent....in the heat of the
battle it is/was extremely easy to depend on the 'sometime incorrect'
auto entry of zones by WRITELOG.. I sure hope something can be
done about this in the future..

Logs.. ANARTS rules say:
"LOGS: Logs must show in this order:
1. DATE
2. TIME (UTC)
3. CALLSIGN OF STATION WORKED/HEARD
4. MESSAGE INFORMATION SENT/RECEIVED (RST/TIME/ZONE)
5. POINTS CLAIMED."
While WRITELOG logs show all this info, they don't show them in
the above required order. Seems we had this problem last year on this
contest and perhaps in one or two other contests..
Whats the fix??
Are the contest sponsors going to accept the WRITELOG files as is??
If so, don't we need some sort of rule clarification or, at minimum an
announcement that the popular WRITELOG files would be accepted as is.
If not, how are we going to reformat our files to meet the above requirement
and if we don't are we going to be disqualified??
and why hasn't the WRITELOG ANARTS log format been fixed?? I don't
believed the rules have changed in the last couple of years!
