I've asked this question before, but
apparantly no one else has had this problem. I have some further info and
hope maybe someone can point me in the direction of finding out what's
happening.

I'm using a Kenwood TS-570G on Com1, Baud rate
4800. I've just installed the newest version of WL. The
computer crashed a couple of months ago and the harddrive was reformatted and
Win98 installed.

During a contest, the rig tracks fine except for
some reason WL jumps back and forth between CW and SSB (indicated by the little
window in the bottom left corner of the screen where the freq. is
displayed) The signal report on the logging window also jumps between 599
and 59. This occurs very infrequently, but if I happen to enter a QSO
just as the mode changes, I get a Bad QSO. This happened about 10 times during
WPX this weekend.

The only thing I can think of is that some other
program in the computer that I had in the previous configuration and is still
there is conflicting with WL. I had nothing else running at the time on
the computer I even removed Nortons from startup as was suggested.

This sure has been annoying.

73,
