This has been the setup I've used for the last eight months, and it's a
great advantage to me. My ST-8000 is in one window, and the RittyRite on
soundcard in the other. Either keys the TS-850 in FSK. With the wideband
decoder pane open, and the on-screen tuning display, it's the best of both
worlds. Just pick the one you want and go. And no manual typing needed
except for corrections.
