Hi Floyd;
I run an 850 and use the circuit exactly as it is in the Writelog help file.
You also need the RTTY line from a second comm. port to the RTTY jack on the
850, if you don't use this the rig just keys with a steady tone and no
diddle.

Subject: [WriteLog] TS-850 FSK connection?
I've looked at the generic interface for FSK at the writelog.com site. Can
someone with a TS-850 running FSK tell me whether or not the opto-isolator
circuit show will key the 850 FSK line, or do I need something else? Is
the opto-isolator a Radio Shack part or must I get it elsewhere. Thanks.
