Folks,

Here's the final plans for N2MH/R. Based on some recon work we did a
few weeks ago, one of our stops had to change (it was unreachable due
to a closed road). And, as we were putting this together, some
opportunities presented themselves. Thus the final plan....

Plans updated September 11, 2002. These plans and a route map can be
seen at http://www.intac.com/~mherson/rover.htm Drill down to the
September, 2002 VHF Contest.

Karen and I will leave early on Saturday and head for FN00rg, Blue Knob,
Pennsylvania, where we will start the contest. Equipment will cover 50,
144, 222 and 432 MHz. Antennas will be single halos on 50 and 144 MHz.
and stacked halos on 222 and 432 MHz. During the contest, we will try to
monitor 144.250 and 146.55 FM MHz. We will probably stop somewhere in
FN03, FN13 for the night and continue the next morning.

We will try to cover the following 15 grids:

FN00rg - Blue Knob (PA)
FM09 - en route on I-76 (PA)
FN10hl - Tuscarora Mountain (PA) *
FN11hb - Riansares Mountain (PA)
FN11lv - Tower Hill (PA) *
FN12ef - Call Hill (NY)
FN02wv - Burks Hill (PA)
FN03va - Genesee County Airport (NY)
FN13gb - The Lodge at Woodcliffe (NY)
FN22dw - Mutton Hill (NY)
FN23gi - Quaker Hill (NY) *
FN32 - en route on NYS Thruway
FN21xh - Bear Mountain (NY)
FN31ah - Bear Mountain (NY)
FN30bx - State Line Lookout (NY)
FN20vt - Highlawn Pavillion (NJ)

Information on all locations can be found on the N2MH RoveSite Locator
Page (http://www.intac.com/~mherson/rovesite.htm). Almost all locations
are new for us and those marked with an asterisk * are new for anybody.
