Use #000 if you want. You just have to figure out a way to fit it into the
hole in the stand off.

Subject: [TowerTalk] F-12 Linear Loading Wire
<Hello TT'ers.
<I am In the process of rehabbing a Force 12 Delta 240/230 beam antenna.
<In the past I have rebuilt/repaired the original F-12 wires with Aluma-weld
12GA.
<If my memory serves me there was a thread in the past because of the flexing
and hardening resulting in failure... another type of wire was substituted ?
<Copper Weld ? Galvanized fence Wire ?

## alumo weld is just aluminum clad steel..which is just as strong as copper
clad steel, or copper weld. Those huge curtain arrays you see used for SW HF
broadcast
all use alumo weld. Instead of 14 gauge alumo weld, use something a bit
bigger, like 12 gauge or even 10 gauge alunmo weld. I have a 500 ft roll of
10 gauge alumo weld.
That stuff is indestructible. You could also replace the LL wires with
coils. I believe F12 or inovate in the uk offered a coil retrofit for the
F12 delta 240 – 230 yagi.
JK ants could also supply the coils. But if coils are used, the tips will have
to be adjustable to resonate each ele. Also each of the oem eles will
require an overhead truss line,
typ made from .1875 dacron line.
