I don't know what kind of boot they're using if it's an original Yaesu this
probably wouldn't work but you might be able to take the back clamps lose
remove the screw from the side of the connector that will allow the back
shell to slide back then you might be able to squeeze the back shell over
the connector and slide down the cable then you could reassemble but like I
say I'm not sure what it looks like.
