I didn't use a Rohn 25 Gin pole, but with the steel pole and pulley Gin pole I
used to erect my HDBX, I just welded a length of tubing to two long flat plates
at the "right" angle.
This sat against the outside of any leg, with the two plates against either
side.
A bevy of C clamps provided the clamping force to clamp the plates to the tower
leg.
This setup worked well. It was tedious to move the mount up the tower, but I
only had to do a few sections.
It was also far stronger than the Gin pole - after erecting the tower, we tried
to raise the antennas and the clamp was stronger than the Gin pole, which bower
more than we were comfortable with.
I hired a crane to drop the antennas on.
But C-clamping some steel tubing with two flat plates worked well.
