I bought a used 40m FS Yagi (Finnish Antenna) with similar boom clamps.
It was on the tower of DJ6ZM for only 4 years and I will not reuse the boom.
I will take some pictures how it looks now.
The wind movement of the element and pressure on the clamp already did their
work.

The teeth could only chew into the mast if there is movement. I had an
OptiBeam OB2-40 up for years on an aluminum mast in Aruba, which has
constant wind, and there was no chewing of the mast.

I don´t think it is a good idea to use saddles with teeth.
Those will saw through the tubing on the long run.

I only use stainless steel hardware in my antennas and after recently
dismantling my P40A station I was glad that I did as even in a corrosive
environment, everything easily came apart. OptiBeam comes with all
stainless steel hardware and they use a laser cut SS saddle with teeth which
seems to be effective. What is wrong with their single mounting plate?
