If you are rotating the entire tower you would have a tower bearing at the
base and the structure below the bearing would be in concrete. If you are
rotating only the upper part of the tower, then you could use a pier pin
base.

I am planning a rotating 55G tower. Understanding the current
preference to place a guyed tower on a pier pin baseplate, is this still
true for rotating the tower?
