Don't have a Pro3, but... On the Pros, turning on some NR will help the popping. Unfortunately, the effect goes away within 15 seconds on the Pro and Pro2. I hear it will persist on the Pro3, so turning on some NR may be your solution. Let me know if it works. Also, an external audio filter helps, like the QF-1A.
